You will support the Asociación Hondureña de Energía Renovable in developing and implementing a human rights policy for energy companies. This role calls for a university degree in a relevant field and at least two years of experience in social and energy project design. You will facilitate crucial consultations and gather best practices for sustainable advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support consultations with private sector and indigenous communities
• Develop proposals for enhancing CPLI in assessments
• Prepare comprehensive reports on consultation findings
• Create recommendations for policy guidance
• Facilitate workshops to empower stakeholders
Requirements:
• Degree in International Development or Social Justice
• Minimum of 2 years related project experience
• Strong understanding of climate change issues
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams
• Proficiency in Spanish Level 3-Intermediate is essential
Drive positive change in renewable energy policies and human rights with AHER in Tegucigalpa.
