Relief RN​/RPN in Mental Health

Position: Fraser Health Relief RN/RPN in Mental Health
Become part of Fraser Health's Mental Health and Substance Use Services as a Relief Part Time RN/RPN in White Rock, B.C. Engage in delivering quality care to older adults needing mental health support.

In this role, you will assess and support patients using evidence-based practices, providing coordinated nursing care in collaboration with an interprofessional team. Your knowledge of mental health and substance use treatment will play an essential role in promoting recovery-oriented care for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and manage clients’ mental health care needs

• Create rehabilitative care plans with interdisciplinary teams

• Deliver group and supportive counselling sessions

• Provide training on life skills relevant to recovery

• Advocate for clients' rights and wellbeing

Requirements:

• Graduation from a recognized School of Nursing

• One-year recent mental health experience preferred

• Current registration with BCCNM

• Understanding of recovery-oriented approaches

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
