Certification with Sonography Canada or ARDMS is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review patient history and prepare them for testing

• Perform abdominal, obstetrical, and vascular ultrasound exams

• Assist in procedural settings and support patients emotionally

• Assess image quality and ensure all examinations meet protocols

• Manage patient flow and coordinate transportation as needed

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Diagnostic Sonography program

• Certification from Sonography Canada or ARDMS required

• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and equipment operation

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to perform CPR and maintain patient safety
