Apply speech assessment and dysphagia expertise as a Relief Part Time Speech Language Pathologist at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock.
Fraser Health is hiring for its Rehabilitation team through approximately June 2027 or the incumbent’s return. You will provide patient and family-centered care, collaborating with an interprofessional team. The work includes diagnosis, prognosis, intervention planning, evaluation, consultation, and education.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess communication, speech, voice, and swallowing abilities
- Establish diagnoses, prognoses, goals, and intervention strategies
- Implement treatment and educate patients and caregivers
- Evaluate outcomes and modify intervention strategies
- Document care and participate in team planning
- Current College of Health and Care Professionals of BC registration
- Applicable College certification
- Knowledge of communication and dysphagia standardized tests
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
