Critical Care Nurse

Position: Fraser Health Critical Care Nurse

As a Full Time Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care in the CSICU, participating in assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans. Collaborate closely with families and the interprofessional team to facilitate patient recovery and discharge planning. Your strong communication and critical thinking abilities will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and nursing diagnoses

• Collaborate with families in care planning

• Manage nursing care delegation among staff

• Educate patients and families about health issues

• Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:

• Approved Nursing degree with recent registration from BCCNM

• Completion of relevant postgraduate courses or equivalent

• Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Proven clinical and organizational skills

• Ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment
