Position: Specialized Emergency Registered Nurse Role
We are looking for a Casual Registered Nurse specialized in Emergency services. This position requires delivering expert nursing care and collaborating effectively with healthcare teams in high-pressure situations.
As a key member of the emergency department, your responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, and advocating for patient needs. You will work alongside various healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that respects individual choices.

Your role will include mentoring new staff and participating in ongoing quality improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments and nursing diagnosis

• Engage patients' families in care development

• Coordinate and prioritize nursing tasks effectively

• Facilitate patient education and health maintenance

• Document care processes in accordance with standards
Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Current registration with BCCNM

• Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills

• Ability to collaborate in a team environment

• Responsible physical work capability
