Registered Nurse, Inpatient Surgical Team

Elevate your nursing career as a Registered Nurse in our Surgical Services team at Peace Arch Hospital. This part time role in White Rock, B.C. focuses on patient-centered care and collaboration.

As a Relief Part Time Registered Nurse, you will be integral to our Surgical Services department until December 2027. Utilizing your clinical assessment abilities, you will work closely with patients and families to create and modify care plans that prioritize individual needs.

Your role will involve coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patients' conditions and nursing interventions

• Foster collaborative relationships with patients and caregivers

• Actively participate in patient discharge planning

• Teach patients about health management and prevention

• Document nursing actions and patient responses accurately

Requirements:

• Active BCCNM registration as a Registered Nurse

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program

• Knowledge of ABI procedures preferred

• Excellent communication and teaching skills

• Physical requirements aligned with nursing duties
