As a Casual Psychiatric Liaison Nurse, you will support the Emergency Department by assessing patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities:

• Screen psychiatric referrals from various sources

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments

• Collaborate with the interprofessional mental health team

• Assist with patient flow and discharge planning

• Document all patient interactions accurately

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized nursing program

• Active registration as a nurse with BCCNM

• Minimum one year of relevant experience

• Knowledge of mental health treatment protocols

• Strong documentation and communication skills
