Clinical Nurse Educator Position

Position: Full Time Clinical Nurse Educator Position
Transform nursing education at Peace Arch Hospital as a Full Time Clinical Nurse Educator in White Rock, B.C. Engage in evidence-informed practice, develop educational programs, and support staff and patient learning.

This role requires a Registered Nurse with three years of clinical experience and one year in leadership or education. You'll utilize educational theories to create supportive, learner-centered environments, deliver programs, and evaluate their effectiveness. Collaboration with various stakeholders is essential as you promote quality improvement and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine education priorities through needs assessments

• Develop educational programs based on evidence and policy

• Facilitate learner-centered education methods

• Plan and track educational activities and attendance

• Evaluate education program effectiveness and learning outcomes

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse registration with BCCNM

• Minimum three years clinical experience, one year in education

• Post-graduate coursework or certification relevant to nursing

• Valid BC Driver's License and access to a vehicle

• Strong clinical expertise and mentorship abilities
