Relief Registered Nurse - Perinatal Care

Fraser Health is hiring a Relief Part Time Registered Nurse in Perinatal care at Peach Arch Hospital, White Rock, B.C. This dynamic role focuses on supporting mothers and newborns through personalized care during critical stages of pregnancy.

As a Perinatal Registered Nurse, you will provide direct care, perform detailed assessments, and collaborate with families and the care team to develop tailored care plans. You will play an essential part in educating patients about health promotion, ensuring they have the resources they need throughout their care journey, and actively participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patients and their unborn babies during care

• Collaborate with healthcare team for effective care planning

• Educate families on health conditions and newborn care

• Document nursing interventions and patient responses

• Engage in quality improvement and risk management activities

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing

• Registered Nurse with BCCNM certification

• Minimum one year clinical experience in perinatal nursing

• Current Basic Rescuer and NRP certification

• Capable of effective interdisciplinary communication
