As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at our Evergreen Community, you’ll play a key role in delivering compassionate, person‑centered care while supporting residents’ health, comfort, and dignity. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working overnight shifts and being part of a collaborative, resident‑focused care team.
Aboutthe Role
This is a temporary part‑time position (0.921 FTE) working overnight shifts from 23:00 to 07:00. The end date is currently to be determined. In this role, you’ll be an integral part of the care team, supporting residents through consistent, high‑quality clinical care during overnight hours. You’ll work closely with Registered Nurses and other team members to ensure safe, responsive, and holistic care.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medications and perform nursing procedures within LPN scope of practice
- Monitor resident health status and report changes to the care team
- Support the development and implementation of individualized care plans
- Provide safe, respectful, and dignified care aligned with Baptist Housing values
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation (Point Click Care , eMAR)
- Promote resident comfort, safety, and wellbeing during overnight hours
- Respond to clinical needs and support continuity of care across shifts
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
- Licensed Practical Nursing Diploma
- Current registration in good standing with BCCNM
- Previous experience in long‑term care or assisted living preferred
- Availability and preference for overnight (23:00–07:00) shifts
Hourly rate ranging from $32.84 to $41.35. Additional benefits may be available in accordance with the collective agreement.
