Support elderly patients in acute care as a Registered Nurse at Peace Arch Hospital, part of Fraser Health in White Rock, B.C. This casual position is focused on delivering empathetic nursing care.
The Registered Nurse will assess and implement care plans for acutely ill older adults within a compassionate and collaborative setting. Your commitment to person-centered care will guide your interactions with patients and their families. Build therapeutic relationships and ensure dignity and respect in every patient encounter.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and diagnose patient conditions for care plans
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams on care strategies
• Coordinate and delegate nursing tasks effectively
• Teach patients and families about health maintenance
• Document all nursing interventions comprehensively
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized Nursing program
• Current registration with BCCNM
• A minimum of one year of acute care experience
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Empathy for diverse patient populations
