As the Clinical Lead (RN) at our Evergreen community in White Rock, you will play a key role in providing compassionate, person-centered care while guiding and supporting our care team. This position offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment where clinical leadership and resident well-being are at the heart of everything we do.

In this leadership role, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, supervising and mentoring team members, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting safety and excellence in care delivery. As a Clinical Lead, you’ll work under the direction of the Director of Care as a key member of our interdisciplinary team. You will be responsible for resident assessments, care planning, medication administration, and supervising care staff.

You’ll also play a vital role in ensuring safety protocols are followed, infection control standards are maintained, and clinical documentation is completed with accuracy and integrity.

Casual on-call opening: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm or 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm

• Deliver compassionate nursing care aligned with Baptist Housing’s values and professional standards

• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate resident outcomes

• Mentor care team members and guide daily clinical operations

• Monitor risks, report incidents, and promote infection prevention protocols

• Oversee admissions, transfers, and discharges with care and efficiency

• Work closely with physicians and care teams to ensure seamless care delivery

• Ensure timely and thorough clinical documentation using electronic records

• Engage in team meetings, quality initiatives, and lead emergency responses

• Demonstrate leadership, empathy, and ethical care in all interactions

Your work location is in the seaside city of White Rock. Our Evergreen community is located at 1550 Oxford Street.

• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from an approved school
• Current practicing registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
• CPR Level C and First Aid Level 2 certifications
• WHMIS and Infection Control training (IPAC)
• At least one year of experience in geriatric, complex, or long-term care preferred
• Proficiency with Inter Rai assessments, clinical documentation, and Microsoft Word
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to the person-centered care philosophy
