Temporary Family Support Worker

Join SOURCES as a Temporary Family Support Worker in White Rock. Support families facing challenges through visitation services, behavioral interventions, and community support.

This role is for a compassionate individual with experience in child and family services. As part of the Child & Family Services team, you'll engage with up to 12 families, helping them through protective and reunification services. Collaboration with MCFD social workers and the Family Services team is essential to strengthen family units and improve support networks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 10-12 families

• Provide supervised visitation and family support services

• Conduct outreach in various living arrangements

• Implement life skills training and community access

• Participate in Integrated Case Management meetings

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Training in Trauma-Informed Practice preferred

• Understanding of child development and family systems

• Valid BC driver’s license with a clean record

• Criminal record check clearance
