Family Support Worker at SOURCES

Help transform families' lives as a Family Support Worker at SOURCES in White Rock. This temporary role focuses on coaching and family reunification services.

SOURCES is seeking a dedicated Family Support Worker to assist families while reporting to the Child & Family Services Manager. You will provide essential support through intervention services and assist families in accessing community resources.

Your role encompasses outreach services and development-focused strategies aimed at preserving family ties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with 10-12 families to support reunification

• Provide supervised visitation and development interventions

• Engage in outreach for various living situations

• Assist with life skills training and support access

• Collaborate in case conferences and Integrated Case Management

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in relevant fields

• Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Practice beneficial

• Familiarity with attachment and child development

• Must have a valid BC driver’s license

• Successful criminal record check needed
