Temporary Family Support Worker

Join Sources as a Temporary Family Support Worker in White Rock, working 35 hours per week with a focus on family reunification and support. This compassionate role invites those with experience in child and family services.

This 12-month position starts on September 2, 2026, with possible extensions. You will handle a caseload of 10-12 families, providing essential services as contracted by MCFD. Utilizing trauma-informed practices and strong communication skills, you'll help families navigate challenges and access community support effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 10-12 families

• Provide supervised visitation and family development services

• Deliver outreach services in various living arrangements

• Implement service plan interventions for life skills

• Engage in Integrated Case Management and case conferences

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with children and families

• Valid BC driver’s license with a clean record

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Strong communication skills in multiple formats

• Understanding of child protection systems and relevant laws
