Temporary Manager, Overdose Prevention Services

Lead Overdose Prevention and Peer Support Services with SOURCES in White Rock, BC. This temporary management role focuses on harm reduction and supporting vulnerable community members.

SOURCES is seeking a Temporary Manager for their Overdose Prevention and Peer Support Services team. This position involves overseeing daily operations, managing complex processes, and ensuring harm reduction practices. Ideal candidates will demonstrate mission-driven leadership and have a deep understanding of community needs and substance use challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee operations of Overdose Prevention and Peer Support teams.

• Guide harm reduction activities as per the program manual.

• Develop services to decrease risks and improve wellness.

• Hire and manage staff for the Peace Point OPS program.

• Liaise with Fraser Health for service coordination.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant diploma in social/human sciences.

• Experience in mental health, substance use, or social services.

• Effective communication and conflict resolution skills.

• Knowledge of health promotion and social justice.

• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License.
