Drive Christmas kettles across White Rock using a personal vehicle, valid Class 5 licence, and organized delivery skills. Temporary shifts may vary.
The Salvation Army seeks a Christmas Kettle Driver based primarily in White Rock. You will serve locations across Tsawwassen, Delta, Ladner, South Surrey, and White Rock. The position focuses on timely kettle transportation, courteous public interaction, mileage tracking, and daily deposits. Prior related experience is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver kettles to assigned locations promptly
- Pick up kettles from designated locations
- Help empty kettle contents into deposit bags
- Maintain an accurate daily mileage log
- Greet staff, clients, volunteers, and public professionally
- Completed high school or equivalent
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Personal vehicle, insurance, and satisfactory driver’s abstract
- Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds
- Willingness to complete required screening and background checks
