Staff Accountant

Position: STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Responsibilities Gather and interpret data Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

Prepare, file, and pay monthly sales and use taxes.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.

Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.

Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
3-5 years of experience in an accounting role.

Familiarity performing accounting work in a manufacturing or construction setting preferred.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge using Sage 100 software a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
