Material Technician

• Material Handling & Logistics:
  Transport materials between facilities and ensure accurate flow of product in production, shipping, and receiving areas. Prepare units for shipment through banding, strapping, and storage. Pack and repack valves, audit shipments, and verify packing slips. Perform receiving transactions in ERP and manage material flow from inspection to storage to production.
• Inventory & Production Support:
  Support cycle counting and FIFO inventory management, including rotating stock of raw and sub-assembled components. Assist with box-making for production lines, load/unload trucks, and drive company vehicles for part transfers. Pick materials in FIFO order to meet production needs and maintain organized work spaces through 5S activities.
• Team Collaboration & Training:
  Provide training for new employees and support team members during absences. Ensure all training aligns with customer-specific training matrices. Exhibit initiative and accountability in meeting TS/ISO quality standards.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous shipping and receiving experience
• CDL license preferred
• Forklift experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Trained in inventory management systems
• Strong communication and task prioritization skills
• Ability to work independently

• Computer proficiency: handheld scanners, email, IFS
• Proven ability to work without direct supervision

• Sit: 10%, Stand/Walk: 80%, Squat/Kneel/Twist: 10%
• Lift up to 50 lbs; frequent lifting of 20 lbs
• Visual acuity for reading work orders, measuring devices, and computer screens
• Acute hearing for phone communication
• Normal temperature/humidity conditions
• Occasional exposure to hazardous materials
• Required PPE: safety glasses and safety shoes as needed
