Practice Accountant​/Assistant Accountant

Our client is a growing, niche accountancy firm who provide accounting solutions to the creative sector. The role is based at the firm’s offices near Whitley Bay.

• Preparing limited company accounts and corporation tax returns
• Handling VAT returns and self-assessment tax returns
• Owning a portfolio of artists and studios—building relationships that go beyond the numbers
• Mentoring and supporting an Accounts Assistant, helping shape the next generation of talent

• Practice experience is essential
• ACCA (part-qualified or qualified) or AAT/MAAT qualification
• A positive, self-starting attitude — you don t need someone watching over your shoulder
• A genuine enjoyment of working with people, not just spreadsheets

• £35,000 - £45,000, with annual reviews and bonus potential
