Role Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen working in the special school nursing team with children and young people with complex health and a range of disabilities at Woodlawn School. The role involves training and nursing support and advice to school staff, pupils and parents/carers.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care for children/young people with a range of disabilities within a Special School.
- Provide skilled nursing support to enable children with complex health needs to access educational opportunities.
- Provide health education and promotion to enable children with complex health needs to promote physical, emotional and mental health.
- Offer training and support to education and social care staff specific to the needs of individual children/young people.
