Job Type: Part time (16 - 20 hours per week - days and evenings)

Essentials:
Drivers required and complex care experience (PEG feeding)

Priority Healthcare have an exciting opportunity for a Complex Care Support Worker looking for a new challenge in the Whitley Bay area.

This is an excellent opportunity to support an individual with cerebral palsy in a fully adapted house.

About the Role:

As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will provide essential care to our client with complex physical and mental health conditions, helping them to live as independently as possible.

Client and Role:
  • Our client is a 17 year old male who lives with cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair for mobility
  • The client requires 2:1 support for all aspects of personal and domestic care, as well as support within the community and manual handling
Successful Applicant:
  • Must drive and hold a Full UK license
  • Must have experience with complex care (brain injuries , cerebral palsy)
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
