Trainee Pharmacy Assistant Avenue Road NEDS

Job Summary

We are looking to recruit a 40‑hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a fixed‑term 18‑month contract to work at our 496‑branch pharmacy located at 21 Avenue Road, Seaton, Delaval, Whitley Bay, NE25 0DS
.

• Monday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
• Tuesday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
• Wednesday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
• Thursday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
• Friday 09:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)

Accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items under the guidance and supervision of the Pharmacist.

Assist with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.

Maintain meticulous attention to detail, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Previous customer service experience is desirable.

Willingness to undertake relevant training courses to progress toward a recognised Counter Course and NVQ Level 2 qualification in Dispensing.
