Shop Volunteer (General Assistant - Whitley Bay)

Our shop offers a range of opportunities for volunteers to support activities such as sorting stock, preparing donated items for sale, and providing customer service to shoppers.

• Checking the quality of donated items and preparing them for sale or recycling.
• Ironing, cleaning, labelling and pricing items ready for sale.
• Keeping the shop organized and tidy.
• Assisting with general shop duties and displays.

No experience is required; full training will be provided. There is no expectation to use a till or computer.

Volunteers can commit a few hours per week, either during the week or on weekends, as agreed with the shop manager. There is no minimum commitment or fixed hours, only a commitment to attend the agreed‑upon times.

• Creating exciting window displays.
