CAM Programmer

We are seeking a skilled CAM Programmer to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs using Fusion 360 software to support the production of high‑precision components. The ideal candidate has strong experience with CNC machines, a deep understanding of machining processes, and a hands‑on approach to continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

• Develop and maintain CNC programs using Fusion 360 for mills, lathes, and multi‑axis machines.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings
  , blueprints, and 3D models (Solid Works/Fusion 360) to generate accurate toolpaths.
• Select proper tooling, speeds, feeds, and cutting strategies for various materials and geometries.
• Work closely with machinists and engineers to ensure programs produce accurate, efficient, and high‑quality parts.
• Support setup and first‑article inspection processes on the shop floor.
• Optimize cycle times and reduce tool wear through efficient programming strategies.
• Maintain organized program files, setup sheets, and documentation for repeatable processes.
• Participate in design for manufacturability (DFM) reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 3+ years of experience programming CNC machines using Mastercam or Fusion 360 (preferred: multi‑axis and 3D surfacing).
• Strong knowledge of G‑code
  , machining processes, and CNC tooling.
• Proficiency with reading and interpreting technical drawings, GD&T, and tolerances

• Familiarity with precision machining, tight tolerances
  , and a variety of metals and plastics.
• Experience with CAD software (e.g.,

• Hands‑on experience with CNC setup and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
