Overview

We are working with a well-established Accident Repair Centre in Whitstable who are looking to recruit an experienced Panel Beater to join their skilled bodyshop team. This is a hands-on role suited to a high-quality repairer with strong structural and jig experience.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out all aspects of panel beating, from light to heavy accident damage
Undertake structural repairs, including chassis alignment and jig work
Perform bonding, welding, and riveting to manufacturer and industry standards
Strip and refit vehicle panels and components as required
Accurately assess vehicle damage and determine repair methods
Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards
Work efficiently to meet job deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience as a Panel Beater within an accident repair/bodyshop environment
Confident working on all panels and structural repairs
Strong jig alignment experience
Competent in bonding, welding, and riveting techniques
Ability to work on modern vehicles and mixed manufacturer repair methods
High attention to detail and pride in quality of work
ATA / NVQ qualifications desirable but not essential (experience is key)

Package & Benefits

5-hour working week Monday - Friday
