Hours
  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm (30-minute break)
  • Friday: 8:00am - 1:30pm (no break)

The Role

We are looking for a Production Operative (Wirer/Jigger) to join the Operations team. The primary focus of this role is wiring and jigging small multi‑pin connectors prior to plating
, with the opportunity to learn electroplating and metal finishing processes over time.

This is a precision‑based role working with small components, requiring excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow strict procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wire and jig small components prior to plating
  • Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and process documentation
  • Work to daily production plans and output targets
  • Safely handle chemicals and materials within the plating department
  • Carry out visual inspections, including use of magnification where required
  • Use measuring equipment (including X‑ray spectrometer) to check plating thickness
  • Complete quality and production records accurately
  • Follow all health & safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
