Own specialised chemical finishing processes, using your technical expertise to ensure the integrity of mission-critical components in the aerospace sector. You will lead process optimisations and drive quality standards within a high-technology manufacturing environment that rewards precision and technical leadership.

- Degree in Chemistry or Materials Science with a focus on metal finishing.
- Proven experience in industrial chemical handling and electroplating.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining PFMEA documentation.

Key responsibilities- Monitor and optimise electroplating standards to ensure high-quality finishes and minimal scrap rates.
- Develop and implement PFMEA materials for both New Product Introductions and existing production lines.
- Ensure full site compliance with IPPC permits and COSHH regulations.
- Provide technical support to shop floor teams and update process instructions.
- Oversee wastewater effluent systems and coordinate hazardous waste disposal.
- Strong background in chemical manufacturing or metal finishing.
- Detailed understanding of Health and Safety protocols within a hazardous environment.
- Ability to mentor shop floor operators and manage skills matrices.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies like 5S or Root Cause Analysis.
- Competent in laboratory analysis and troubleshooting out-of-tolerance concentrations.
