Overview
Whitstable Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and patient focused Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) who is adaptable, thrives on team work and can work effectively within our large friendly and supportive nursing team. We are dedicated to delivering high quality, compassionate care to our 45,500 patients across all three sites:
- Estuary View Medical Centre
- Whitstable Health Centre
- Chestfield Medical Centre
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ANP to work within a forward thinking and innovative Practice. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within the nursing and HCA team to deliver safe, effective and patient centred care. The role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values professional development, clinical excellence and teamwork. The Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) will work autonomously and collaboratively within the nursing team to deliver safe, effective and evidence based care to the patients of Whitstable Medical Practice.
The post holder will undertake advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, prescribing referral and ongoing management of patients presenting with acute, chronic, complex and undifferentiated conditions. The ANP will provide advanced nursing care while supporting the operational and strategic objectives of Whitstable Medical Practice and will practise in accordance with the Four Pillars of Advanced Practice:
Clinical Practice, Leadership and Management, Education, and Research. The post holder will support high standards of patient care, service development, clinical governance and continuous quality improvement.
Whitstable Medical Practice is a forward thinking single Primary Care Network (PCN), GP Practice based across three sites in Whitstable, Kent looking after 45,500 patients. There are 23 equity GP Partners, 18 Allied Health Professionals directly employed Clinical Pharmacy Team, Frailty Practitioners, Social Prescribers, First Contact Physiotherapists and Mental Health Practitioners.
We pride ourselves on our innovative approach to Primary Care. We are a training practice, provide an Urgent Treatment Centre, Day surgery Suit, Digital X-Ray and provide various in house contracts including:
- Cataract surgery
- Ultrasound
- Dermatology
- Physical Therapies
- Audiology
