The law requires that paraprofessionals who assist in classroom instruction must meet the minimum requirements of
• AA/AS Degree or completion of 48 semester college level units with high school graduation/GED or pass the District NCLB exam

• Certification (Certificate of non violent Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI))
• Copy of Transcript (Minimum requirement of College Transcripts for 48 semester college units (meet requirements for ESEA-Elementary and Secondary Education Act))
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three letters of recommendation)
• Proof of HS Graduation (Minimum of HS graduation/GED and 48 semester college units)
• Resume (Resume and 3-5 references)
