House Supervisor, Nursing; PT, Nights Monterey Park Hospital

Position Overview

Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a House Supervisor, Nursing (PT, Nights) for our Nursing Administration Department
. This is a part-time, 12-hour night shift position reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer. The first 8 hours are compensated at the regular base rate, and the remaining 4 hours are paid at the applicable overtime rate.

The House Supervisor serves as the on-site administrative resource for the facility. The Supervisor collaborates, coordinates and communicates with administration, physicians and the entire management team to facilitate the delivery of quality patient care. They serve as a role model by providing leadership and expertise and act as a clinical resource for other members of the interdisciplinary team. They respond to the needs and requests of others quickly and efficiently and assist others in completing tasks or duties for improved customer satisfaction.

• BSN preferred.
• 3 years in the role of Administrative Supervisor preferred.
• Current California RN license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA) required.
• PALS and AB 508 training, Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification preferred.
