- Build trust and personal relationships with seniors
- Assist seniors with all ADLs, especially helping with bathing, toileting/incontinence care, and evaluation of vital signs and changes in condition in seniors
- Learn and engage seniors with memory loss in games, mind & coordination activities, and in reflecting and enjoying the best memories they can recall
- Delivering all the activities of a custom-designed care plan, and communicating changes and developments hand-in-hand with care managers
- Lifting: Frequently lift 35 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs during your shift.
- Client Assistance: Support clients with transfers and repositioning in beds, wheelchairs, or other surfaces using gait belts, slide boards, or mechanical lifts (when available).
- Team Lifts: Perform two-person assists for clients who require full support or cannot bear weight.
- Mobility Support: Push or pull wheelchairs, occupied beds, or medical equipment across various surfaces (e.g., carpet, tile, ramps), which may require up to 75 lbs of initial force.
- Movement & Endurance: Be comfortable with kneeling, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods throughout your shift.
- Professional caregiving experience:
At least 1 year [those with volunteer, family member, or classroom-only caregiving experience are still considered] - Must be a Registered Home Care Aid (HCA)-- (If not, we’ll show you how!)

Salary Description
$20.50-$23.50/hr
