Echo Vascular Technician

This position in accordance with departmental standards of practice, assumes responsibility for all non-invasive diagnostic cardiac and peripheral vascular exams as ordered by the physicians to assure patient care treatment.

• 12 Lead electrocardiogram an arrhythmia detection knowledge.
• Knowledge of Cardiac and Vascular diagnostic tests and preparations.
• Successfully passing safety, cultural sensitivity, and blood pathogen classes.

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum six (6) months experience as an electrocardiodiagnostic technician.
• Minimum six months experience as a Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Technician.
• Registered through RDMS, SDMS, SNIVT, CCI or other comparable society in both Cardiac Ultrasound and Non-Invasive Vascular Ultrasound Sonography.
• CVT training or certification.
• BLS certified.

Preferred:

• Cardiac and Non-Invasive Vascular ultrasound sonography experience.
