Overview
Determination for the Epic Application Analyst (I, II or III), Bridges Interface roles will be based on experience and qualifications.
On-site in La Mirada, CA.
We’re looking for an Epic HL7 Integration Analyst with strong expertise in HL7 and FHIR development to help PIH Health design and implement seamless integrations between EPIC, PIH Interfaces engine and downstream systems. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a health system and can provide hands-on technical experience as well as strategic input on interoperability.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary contact for the interfaces they are assigned to implement and support.
- Configure and support the interfaces used to migrate application builds between environments using the Data Courier application.
- Coordinate analysis sessions to identify interface business needs, create technical designs, and own issue triage necessary to implement and support their assigned interfaces.
- Work closely with the interface project manager, application teams, and technical teams to ensure interfaces meet the needs of end users.
- Epic HL7 Integration Analyst with strong expertise in HL7 and FHIR development.
- PIH Health internal applicants or Altera employees (as of May 2025) in PIH Health roles;
Epic certification in the required application/module must be obtained within 120 days of hire or transfer. Failure to obtain certification may result in removal from the position; eligible to apply for other internal openings if qualified. - External applicants must possess active Epic certification in the required application/module at the time of hire. Proof of current certification will be required.
