Assembly and Repair Technician

• You will assemble reciprocating pumps & systems as well as centrifugal pumps & systems
• Further, you will perform liquid nitrogen testing & hydrostatic pressure testing, and perform assembly of expander packaged systems
• Perform repairs on pumps (centrifugal and piston) and repairs on expanders
• You will troubleshoot (fault finding) mechanical equipment and components
• In addition, you will clean and assemble equipment to oxygen service standards
• Follow all relevant procedures and instructions
• Moreover, you will work independently and with others in the workshop
• Also, you will be responsible to ensure machinery is assembled and tested according to the procedures and design criteria

• You have attended an Electro-Mechanical trade school or equivalent
• At least 3 years’ experience in technical field
• Further, you have experience with industrial equipment and knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
• You possess strong computer skills (Microsoft and similar), as well as knowledge of cryogenic equipment
• Understanding of rotating equipment and oxygen cleaning
• You have the ability to read blueprints (mechanical) and have basic electrical knowledge
• Ability to use measurement devices
