The Retail Associate ensures that customers have a positive shopping experience. The Associate greets all customers courteously, treats fellow associates with respect, follows all company best‑practice standards, maintains a clean work area, and ensures proper merchandise presentation.

• Practice safe behaviors and maintain high safety awareness on the sales floor.
• Keep the store clutter‑free with clear egress to emergency exits.
• Treat customers and associates with respect and courtesy; greet customers with eye contact and a smile.
• Assist customers at the register, answer questions, and provide prompt service.
• Handle customer issues courteously and call store leadership when needed.
• Represent and support the company brand at all times.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping counters, and replenishing restroom supplies.
• Adhere to the company dress code and maintain professional appearance.
• Execute daily sizing and recovery and merchandising tasks to keep the store organized.
• Expedite newly received merchandise to the sales floor per monthly presentation guidelines.
• Understand loss‑prevention and merchandise‑protection programs.
• Safeguard confidential information, cash, credit card information, and merchandise.
• Follow Mark‑Out‑of‑Stock policies and cash‑handling procedures.
• Demonstrate urgency, maximize productivity, and minimize steps in workflow.

• Communicate with customers, associates, and store leadership in a friendly, respectful, and pleasant manner.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.

• Use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PC.
• Stand, walk, and move around the store 100% of working time.
• Bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop regularly.
• Occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds.
• Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies.
• Some stockroom shifts may require pushing, pulling, and lifting more than 20 pounds.
