Overview

GM and Food (General Merchandise, Closing, Fulfillment, Inbound, Food and Beverage ) (T2019) — role rting hourly rate: $18.75 USD per hour.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs when assistance is required.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target.
• Execute daily tasks assigned by leadership to align with business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified.
• Execute processes such as price changes, merchandise setup and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about total store resources, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Work safely; comply with safety policies, training, and report hazards when necessary.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (picking/packing orders or delivering pickup orders) while complying with laws (e.g., federal, state, and local adult beverage laws).
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to handle cash operations as needed.
• Climb ladders and move merchandise safely; may lift up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable attendance required.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions; some roles may involve drive-up, carryout, etc.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
