Living Skills Educator - Monrovia/PasadenaPart Time Whittier, CA, US
Salary Range: $20.00 To $27.00 Hourly
- Daily Living Skills Instruction: Teach and assist consumers with routine tasks such as meal/menu preparation, grocery shopping, grooming, and bathing.
- Financial Literacy: Educate consumers on basic money management principles.
- Job and Social Skill Development: Support consumers in acquiring essential job skills and fostering positive social interactions.
- Community Engagement: Encourage participation in local community events.
- Environmental Support: Help maintain and promote a safe and clean living environment for consumers.
- Advocate for the rights of individuals with disabilities, empowering them to make their own life choices, exercise their rights, and fully engage in community life.
- Administrative Duties:
- Schedule and conduct meetings with consumers to ensure monthly hour requirements are met.
- Complete all necessary documentation and daily logs as specified by support services.
- Submit accurate timesheets for each workday.
