Tax Professional - Franchise Location at H&R Block. Seasonal, experienced Tax Professional role with a focus on serving clients with diverse tax needs and providing advanced tax training.

• Inspire clients to make confident, informed decisions about their lives, careers, and money by building lasting client relationships.
• Serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team and advanced tax training.
• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools (video, phone, chat, email).
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.

• All certification levels can provide tax notice services;
  Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Experience with virtual tools (video, phone, chat).

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience
