Exciting opportunity to join Pediatrix Medical Group at United Regional Healthcare System. As a Level II Special Care Nursery designated facility, United Regional provides care for infants with a 30‑week or longer gestational age and a birth weight of greater than 1,250 grams who have physiologic immaturity or problems expected to resolve rapidly, without the need for sub‑specialty services on an urgent basis. In the Special Care Nursery, we collaborate with trained pediatricians, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, rehabilitation services, and neonatal nutritionists to care for infants so that they can remain in our community without separation from their parents while receiving specialized care.

• Neonatologist covers level II NICU and newborn nursery
• Hospital partnered with Pediatrix working towards level III NICU designation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for premature and critically ill newborns in the level II NICU
• Supportive work environment with advanced technology in a state‑of‑the‑art NICU facility
• Provide family‑centered care and support parents during newborns’ NICU stay, fostering strong communication and collaboration
• Shifts are 24‑hour rounding plus call from home/hotel
• Program starts 9/1/24

• TX license or active IMLC required
• Board certification in Neonatology with recent experience required
