Environmental Coordinator / Engineer in Wichita Falls, TX, Job 1794

This is a FULL-TIME position as an employee of our manufacturing client and REQUIRES working on location in Wichita Falls, TX. Nationwide relocation assistance is available.

As an integral part of the site EHS team, the Environmental Coordinator / Engineer will report to the facility EHS Manager and be responsible for supporting the management and overall direction of Environmental Health and Compliance programs and activities at the facility.

You will guide, coach, mentor and support all site employees on how to protect themselves, each other, and company assets in the most productive and efficient manner.

Partial List of Minimum Requirements (Must possess ALL listed to be considered):

• Bachelor's Degree
• Two (2) or more years of environmental experience
• Demonstrated success executing compliance programs regarding Federal, State and local Safety and Multi-Media Environmental regulations.

  Familiarity with Texas regulations

Partner with operational leadership and serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) regarding interpretation of federal, state, and local Environmental compliance regulations.

• Lead or participate in employee training programs regarding EHS behaviors and compliance.
• Participate in/lead audits and inspections developing remediation plans as needed.
• Maintain positive relationships with federal, state, and local regulators.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
