Position Summary:
A Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) works under the supervision/delegation of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), individual supervising physicians, Director of Advanced Practitioners, and APP Regional Managers.
- Full-time minimum 12 shifts/month – 3 shifts/week.
- PRN minimum 2 shifts a month (additional can be picked up).
- Schedules made 30+ days in advance.
- Hours:
Monday – Saturday: 7:30 am – 8:00 pm;
Sundays: 11:30 am – 8:00 pm. - FT Status: minimum 12 shifts/month includes 2 Saturdays + 2 Sundays.
- 1 on‑call shift/month (must answer between 6 am–2 pm).
- Salaried position – $100k–$125k – Depends on experience.
- Monthly pay period.
- Ability to pick up extra shifts at other clinics if available.
- Any shifts worked in excess will be paid at an hourly rate.
- Performance evaluations within first 60–90 days.
- Tier System I–IV to provide line of sight for advancement.
- Clinics closed on:
Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, Easter, New Year’s Day, and 4th of July.
- Minimum 1 year as a provider.
- Urgent Care experience highly preferred.
- Unencumbered license(s) to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant in Texas.
- Current BLS certification, DEA license and any additional certifications, board certifications, licenses, or regulatory mandates required by the state.
- Signed Delegation Protocol and Collaborative Practice Act Agreement.
It is the sole responsibility of the Mid‑Level Medical Practitioner to maintain all certifications and registrations necessary as outlined by state and federal law. Failure to do so may result in termination.
Responsibilities- Arrive to shift on time, 7:30 am Mon‑Saturday and 11:30 am on Sundays.
- Contact Director in event of an emergency call‑in, with any issues/questions pertaining to the clinic or your shift.
- Room and triage patient; record patient information including vital signs.
- Keep supplies ready by stocking rooms, inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
- Obtain and document a thorough history, perform physical exam, and order and record tests.
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Administer or provide medications.
- Monitor effectiveness of therapeutic interventions when necessary.
- Administer immunizations/vaccines when appropriate.
- Offer counseling, education, and discharge planning to meet patient needs.
- Prescribe treatments including medications.
- Arrange necessary follow‑up referrals.
- Maintain compliance with oversight physician as per state guidelines.
- Adhere to all regulatory board requirements for licensure.
- Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously.
