Night Operations Assistant Store Manager, in Training
Night Operations Assistant Store Manager in Training (NOASM-IT) will gain hands‑on experience in the key responsibilities and functions of a Night Operations Assistant Store Manager at The Home Depot. The NOASM‑IT undergoes a comprehensive training program that includes hands‑on experience, mentorship, and leadership development. During training, supervise the overnight freight operations, collaborate with Night Replenishment Managers (NRMs), and work with the Store Manager, Assistant Store Managers (ASMs), and field teams to develop and implement strategies that boost sales and profitability.
After up to six weeks of training, the NOASM‑IT will be prepared to execute the core responsibilities of a full‑time Night Operations Assistant Store Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Experience – supervise associates, drive the store culture, and resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Operations Management – perform opening, closing, and MOD duties; enforce company policies; maintain SOPs, safety compliance, and shrink mitigation.
- Safety – ensure compliance with safety, hazmat procedures, and Safety Matters guidelines.
- Sales & Productivity – plan merchandise placement, support stock integrity, maintain store equipment, and manage daily financial operations.
- Training – complete a structured training program covering operations, customer service, sales & profitability, and policies; demonstrate staffing, scheduling, and performance management skills.
- Reports to the Store Manager.
