American Traveler is seeking a Medical Surgical RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring at least 2 years of experience and prior travel nursing experience.

• Medical Surgical unit setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 or 4x12 hours, 19:00-7:00)
• Scheduled for 84 hours biweekly with a 72 hour guarantee
• Must be agreeable to floating between Med/Surg units
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Nursys verification required

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit, supporting varying patient acuity levels
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application or prior to accepting an offer
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening, including marijuana, upon arrival; a positive result results in automatic cancellation
• Candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could result in a positive drug screen
• License must be in hand prior to start date
