Junior Accountant; behalf client

On behalf of a client, a diversified group of companies, we seek to recruit a Junior Accountant for their offices in Larnaca.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Having overall responsibility for the smooth operation of the group of companies accounting department
• Meet ad-hoc request for financial information
• Preparing monthly management reports
• Preparation of VAT/VIES returns in accordance with Cyprus law and IFRS
• Maintaining and updating daily accounting records
• Preparing reconciliations of bank balances, receivables and payables
• Liaising with auditors, bankers, creditors and other stakeholders
• Ensuring monthly supplier’s payments
• Issuing of invoices/receipts
• Undertake any other relevant duties and responsibilities, as assigned by management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or other related field.
• At least 1-2 years of related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Greek and English.
• Computer literacy, with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• ACCA work experience certification (approved hours from ACCA member).
