Accounting Associate

The accounting associate will be responsible for performing essential transactional and analytical tasks that keep the company's financial data accurate, timely, and compliant.

• Support duties related to accounts payable functions
• Assist Cost Accountant with updating inventory spreadsheets
• Match all incoming invoices with the appropriate support documentation
• Enter invoices into accounting software and set invoices for timely payment
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues for bank accounts, subledgers, and general ledger accounts.
• Correspond with vendors and respond to all vendor inquiries
• Provide supporting documentation for annual audits
• Assist with various projects, as needed

• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft office products
• Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
• Demonstrates ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines

• Associate’s degree in accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance or similar field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience can be substituted.
• 1-3 years of relevant, hands‑on accounting experience
