About the Position

This Military Technician position is with the United States Army Reserve Command. This position requires an active membership as a Soldier in the Army Reserve before a start date can be set. To learn more about minimum qualifications to join the Army Reserve, visit

• Process administrative actions using automated systems.
• Maintain organizational records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Review correspondence for submission to higher echelons.
• Preserve stock levels of organizational equipment.

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Successful completion of Unit Pay Administrator Course within 18 months of appointment.
• Successful completion of Unit Administrator Basic Course within 18 months of appointment.
• This position may be subject to the Lautenberg Amendment/Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• The duties of this position may meet the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs.
• THIS POSITION REQUIRES ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP AS A SOLDIER IN THE U.S. ARMY RESERVE (USAR).
