Job Title: QA/QC Assistant

This position is responsible for assisting with QA/QC in our Commercial Building Division, with an emphasis on Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant projects. This is a specialized role that supports onsite staff with maintaining quality standards on all critical path scopes of work.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of quality assurance and quality control plans.
  • Conduct inspections and testing of materials/workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
  • Support the Project Management staff in maintaining and organizing quality documentation, reports and records.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of quality audits and inspections.
  • Communicate regularly with field leadership and sub-contractors regarding quality standards.
  • Other miscellaneous duties as directed by management.

    • Required Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of commercial construction experience.
  • Previous experience in construction QA/QC is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret quality standards is a must.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external partners.
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.

    • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with water/waste-water treatment facilities is highly preferred, but not required.
  • Bachelor's in construction management, construction science, engineering, or related field is preferred, but not required.
