HoursThis role does not have a standard number of hours per week and will vary throughout the year. There will be busy periods such as Freshers’ Week, but there can also be extended periods where we do not need anyone.
DetailsThe SU is continually seeking enthusiastic, experienced photographers to join the Students’ Union Marketing Team.
We are looking to build our photography portfolio, but we are also looking to create more video content. Ideal candidates will be able to use either their cameras or phones to collect short video clips to support the marketing team with content.
Photographs and video clips will range from social events, SU group events, election periods, sporting events and will include some profile photography. A range of photography skills is needed; if you have a specialism in one area please apply and let us know e.g. Sport.
The ideal candidate will be creative, confident, reliable, and able to work to deadlines.
Photographers and videographers must provide all their own equipment and obtain the right insurances for business use.
This role will report to Helen Webb, Marketing and Communications Manager, and be supported by Joe Rumford, Content & Communications Coordinator.
Requirements- University of Bath student
- Experience in photography and/or videography with a portfolio of work
- Own equipment and business‑use insurance
- Creative, confident, reliable, deadline‑focused
- Ability to capture events such as social, group, election, sporting, and profile shots
- Proficient with camera or smartphone video capture
